EscaLAte: Sports Medicine and Performance Summit

1. Registration and Attendance
1.1 Registration Process:
Participants must register online through the official registration platform. Confirmation of registration is only valid upon receipt of full payment.
1.2 Eligibility:
The Summit is open to professionals, students, and others interested in sports medicine and performance. Attendees must be 18 years or older, unless otherwise permitted by the organizers.
1.3 Payment and Fees:
All registration fees are non-refundable. Early bird rates and deadlines will be clearly stated on the event website.
1.4 Cancellations:
In the unlikely event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be notified immediately, and refunds or credits will be provided at the discretion of the event organizers.
1.5 Substitution Policy:
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another individual by notifying the organizers at least 7 days before the event.
2. Code of Conduct
2.1 Professional Behavior:
All attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally. Harassment, disruptive behavior, or any form of misconduct will not be tolerated.
2.2 Zero Tolerance for Discrimination:
The Summit is committed to inclusivity and does not tolerate any discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics.
2.3 Removal Policy:
The organizers reserve the right to remove individuals who violate the code of conduct without a refund.
3. Event Participation
3.1 Content and Programming:
The organizers reserve the right to change the schedule, speakers, or practical sessions as necessary. Any changes will be communicated promptly.
3.2 Liability Waiver:
Attendees agree to participate at their own risk. The organizers, sponsors, and venue partners will not be held liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss during the Summit.
3.3 Practical Sessions:
Participants engaging in hands-on activities or practical sessions acknowledge they are physically fit to participate and assume all associated risks.
4. Media and Content Usage
4.1 Photography/Videography:
By attending, participants consent to being photographed or recorded during the event. These materials may be used for marketing, educational, or promotional purposes.
4.2 Personal Recording:
Attendees may not record or distribute event content without written permission from the organizers.
4.3 Intellectual Property:
All materials, presentations, and content provided during the Summit are the intellectual property of the respective speakers and organizers. Reproduction or distribution is prohibited.
5. Privacy Policy
5.1 Data Collection:
Your registration data will be collected to facilitate event attendance, communication, and future event marketing.
5.2 Third-Party Sharing:
We do not share personal data with third parties, except for essential service providers necessary to run the Summit.
6. Health and Safety
6.1 Compliance with Guidelines:
All attendees must comply with the health and safety guidelines set by the venue and event organizers, including COVID-19 protocols, if applicable.
6.2 Medical Emergencies:
In case of emergency, attendees consent to receive medical care from on-site medical personnel or external providers.
7. Force Majeure
The organizers shall not be held responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond their control, such as natural disasters, public health emergencies, or other force majeure events.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of [State of California], and any disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction of Los Angeles, CA.
9. Acceptance of Terms
By registering and attending the EscaLAte: Sports Medicine and Performance Summit, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
